Local Governance System-Legal Reform Conference was held successfully

15 January 2019, Ulaanbaatar city. Secretariat of Parliament, UNDP in Mongolia and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation are cooperating to implement a “Strengthening Representative Bodies in Mongolia” project. Within the project, “Law of Mongolia On Administrative And Territorial Units And Their Governance” is being drafted and carried out by the “MDS&KhanLex” LLP.
“Local Governance System-Legal Reform” conference was took place at Ballroom hall at Shangri-La Hotel on 15th and 16th of September 2019, within a scope of such project with an attendance of representatives of local authorities, administrative organizations, and relevant officials, totaling approximately 300 people.

Mr. J. Maizorig, Partner of “MDS&KhanLex” LLP, introduced a revised draft law to participants by delivering his speech on “Draft Law of Mongolia On Administrative And Territorial Units And Their Governance”. During the two-day session of the conference, participants revised and criticized draft law. At the end of the conference, attendees adopted “Guideline” on basis of discussion, criticisms, comments which made on draft law.
